Athletics Hall of Fame 
The Mercy College Athletics Hall of Fame Committee was organized to honor the sports tradition of the college in the context of the academic experience by:
- Recognizing former student-athletes, coaches and/or athletics administrators who excelled in Mercy College Athletics;
- Encouraging current student-athletes to strive to attain the highest standards of performance and conduct; and
- Calling attention locally, regionally and nationally to Mercy College's Athletics history and tradition.
The following criteria were established for nominations of potential Hall of Fame inductees:
- An athlete must have competed two full seasons in one sport or one full season in two or more sports and have attended Mercy College a minimum of two years. The athlete will not be considered until five years after his/her class graduates.
- A coach or athletics administrator must have served at Mercy College for at least five years and have retired (or left the college) prior to being selected.
- The nominee must have departed Mercy College in good standing, and the record of the nominee must be so outstanding that there is no question as to qualifying for the Hall of Fame.
