DOBBS FERRY, NY – Eight Mercy College student-athletes received Division II Athletics Directors Association (DII ADA) Academic Achievement Awards presented by WeatherPORT, it was announced on Thursday. The Academic Achievement Awards is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level.

Mercy College Athletics to Hold Fall Sports Tryouts
DOBBS FERRY, NY – Each of the Mercy College fall sports programs will hold open tryouts over the next few weeks. All registered full-time students (12 or more credit hours) at Mercy with proof of a physical dated within the last six months are eligible to tryout.

Pat Kennedy Named Director of Athletics at Mercy College
DOBBS FERRY, NY – Pat Kennedy has been appointed Director of Athletics at Mercy College, it was announced on Tuesday. Kennedy had served in a recruiting and external outreach role at Mercy since April. She will begin her new duties effective immediately.

Mercy College Places 30 Student-Athletes on 2007-08 ECC Commissioner’s Honor Roll
DOBBS FERRY, NY – A total of 30 Mercy College student-athletes have been named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2007-08 academic year. Each of the Mavericks’ 10 conference sponsored programs had at least two student-athletes honored.
