Mercy College is pleased to announce its women’s basketball schedule for the 2010-2011 season. The first of the Mavericks’ 26 contests, including 21 East Coast Conference games, will be at home on Nov. 12.
Mercy kicks off the season at the Dominican College Tip-Off Tournament with back-to-back games on Nov. 12 against Dominican College and on Nov. 13 against Nyack. The next two games are also on the road at Georgian Court (Nov. 16) and Felician (Nov. 18). The Blue and White then begin a three game home stand, when Dowling comes to Dobbs Ferry on Nov. 20, for the first ECC game of the season. Mercy then hosts Post (Nov. 20) and C.W. Post (Dec. 1), before heading out on the road for games at Bridgeport (Dec. 4) and Queens (Dec. 8). Mercy finishes out their 2010 schedule with a home contest against St. Thomas Aquinas on Dec. 18.
The Blue and White kick off 2011 at home on Jan. 5, with a matchup against Molloy. The next two contests are on the road against NYIT (Jan. 8) and C.W. Post (Jan. 12), followed by two home matchups against Bridgeport (Jan. 15) and Queens (Jan. 19). Mercy heads back on the road to face St. Thomas Aquinas on Jan. 22 and Molloy on Jan. 26. January is closed out back in Dobbs Ferry, with a matchup against NYIT on Jan. 29.
The Mavericks begin February on the road at Dowling (Feb. 2), then return home to take on C.W. Post (Feb. 5). The next two games are on the road, at Bridgeport (Feb. 9) and Queens (Feb. 12), followed by two at home against St. Thomas Aquinas (Feb. 16) and Molloy (Feb. 19). Mercy next heads to NYIT on Jan. 23, and then closes out the regular season in Dobbs Ferry on Feb. 26 against Dowling.
The top six teams in the Conference will play in the ECC Conference Championship, which takes place from Mar. 2 to Mar. 6.
