WHITE PLAINS, NY - At the 73rd Mercy College Commencement Ceremony, 28 past and present Mercy College student-athletes received undergraduate degrees, six received graduate degrees and one received both. The ceremonies were held at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY, on Wednesday, May 28.

DOBBS FERRY, NY Mercy College alumnus Noreen Annunziata Apicella will be inducted into the Rockland County Sports Hall of Fame on May 3 at the Pearl River Elks Club in Nanuet, New York. Annunziata Apicella will be a part of the 35th Hall of Fame class, which includes soccer standout Randy Nelson and multi-sport star Reid Hoffer.

March 5, 2008 Mercys Christina Baxter and Delmara Reece Named to ECC Womens Basketball All-Conference Teams
DOBBS FERRY, NY Mercy College junior guard Christina Baxter (Greenwood Lake, NY) was named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Womens Basketball All-Conference Second Team and freshman forward Delmara Reece (Yonkers, NY) was named to the Third team. The league announced its award winners on Wednesday.
March 3, 2008 Wellington and Baxter Climb into the Record Books
DOBBS FERRY, NY Senior guard Chanze Wellington (Spring Valley, NY) and junior guard Christina Baxter (Greenwood Lake, NY) have both joined the ranks of the all-time elite Mavericks by reaching the 1,000 points scored milestone against St. Thomas Aquinas College on February 23. Each have enjoyed tremendous collegiate careers and now will have a place in the Mercy College record books.
March 1, 2008 Mercy Womens Basketball Ends Season with Loss to Bridgeport 88-71
BRIDGEPORT, CT The Mercy womens basketball team had four players score in double figures, but was defeated on Saturday at Bridgeport by a score of 88-71. The loss ends the Mavericks season and is eliminated from conference tournament contention. Mercy finishes with an overall record of 6-21 and 6-14 in East Coast Conference (ECC) play.
