GRAND LAKE, Colo. (Apr. 19, 2017) – Mercy College women's lacrosse sophomore Hunter Isnardi (Hicksville, N.Y./Hicksville) has been named the IWLCA Fast Break Division II National Offensive Player of the Week.
Isnardi ended the week with a team-high-tying ten goals and 11 points along with a team-high 26 draw controls as Mercy went 2-0. The sophomore began the week with five goals, seven draw controls and three ground balls in a win over Philadelphia on Monday. The midfielder concluded the week with five goals, an assist, 19 draw controls and three ground balls in a 19-4 win over ECC foe St. Thomas Aquinas.
The award is the seventh earned by Isnardi this season and Mercy has now received 21 awards on the year.
Head Coach Dawn Anselmin and the Mavericks resume action on Saturday, April 22nd when they host LIU Post at 1 p.m.
