April 29, 2010 Mercy Womens Lacrosse Wins at STAC 18-8
The Mercy College womens lacrosse team guaranteed itself a winning record in this inaugural season by defeating St. Thomas Aquinas 18-8 on Thursday afternoon. Under the direction of head coach Francesca DeLorenzo, the Mavericks are now 8-5 overall, and 3-3 and in fifth place in the East Conference. STAC is 0-11 overall, and 0-5 in the ECC.
April 27, 2010 Mercy Womens Lacrosse Rallies to Beat Wilmington 10-9
Mercy College freshman Brianna Horn rolled the crease with just under a minute to go in regulation, drawing Wilmington goalie Amber Smith out of position, and scored on a bounce shot with 55 seconds to go, as Mercy claimed a 10-9 come from behind victory on Tuesday afternoon.
