Women's Soccer Adds Four to Coaching Staff

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Aug. 7, 2017) – Mercy College women's soccer Head Coach Jonathan Feinstein has announced the additions of Gianna Jennosa, JP Arenas, Francesco Notaristefano and Paul Salov as assistant coaches to the coaching staff ahead of the 2017 season.

Jennosa's primary responsibilities will be recruiting, fundraising, monitoring team academics, scheduling and operations. Jennosa will work primarily with the team's defenders and help to improve the Mercy backline.

Jennosa comes from in-conference rival Molloy College where she was a four-year starter and team captain. She appeared in 61 games with 60 starts and tallied two goals and one assist as a right back for the Lions.

She received her Bachelor's Degree in Health Science in 2017 and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from Mercy.

Arenas will be responsible for working with the team's goalkeepers. He has an extensive background in youth soccer training. He has worked for New York Surf Soccer Club, White Plains Soccer Club and is currently working for FC Westchester's Academy Program.

Feinstein also added Francesco Notaristefano and Paul Salov. They will help the team in fundraising and community engagement.

"I am excited about the additions to our coaching staff. They will help to continue to make Mercy College Women's Soccer a success both on and off the field."
