Chiles had a productive month of January for the Mavericks, averaging a team-high 16.0 points and 5.8 assists per game on 49.5 percent shooting in nine games. The two-time ECC Honor Roll recipient during the month began the month with a double-double by way of 17 points and 10 assists on 7-of-12 shooting in the Mavericks win over Cheyney on January 3rd. The junior then recorded 18 points and seven assists against Bloomfield on January 9th before posting 13 points and five assists at Roberts Wesleyan on January 12th. Against D’Youville on January 19th, Chiles had 14 points and five assists, going 10-of-12 from the foul line. To end the month, the guard recorded 20 or more points in three straight games and had six or more assists in each game. The junior began the streak with 23 points on 10-of-15 shooting with six assists and Staten Island on January 24th. Chiles then netted a career-high 25 points on 8-of-12 shooting with seven assists against UDC on January 27th. The guard ended the month with a 22-point, seven-assist outing on 11-of-17 shooting at Queens on January 31st.
