Robertson had a strong month of December for the Mavericks, averaging 19.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per game on 47.6 percent shooting as Mercy won three games during the month to surpass their win total from last year. The freshman began the month with 17 points and six rebounds against Chestnut Hill on December 3rd. The forward then had a career-high 26 points with 12 rebounds, scoring the game-winning basket at the buzzer, in Mercy’s win over Roberts Wesleyan on December 6th. The one-time ECC Player of the Week then recorded 21 points in back-to-back games against Franklin Pierce and in the win over Holy Family on December 11th. The two-time ECC Rookie of the Week then had a double-double by way of 11 points and 12 rebounds in the win at D’Youville on December 13th that moved Mercy to 2-0 in ECC play for the first time. Robertson then had 25 points at nationally-ranked Daemen on December 15th before ending the month with 16 points and 21 points against Saint Michael’s and Southern Connecticut State.
