Lesko had a strong month of January for the Mavericks, averaging 15.7 points per game and a team-high 8.4 rebounds per game as Mercy went 5-2 during the month. The three-time ECC Rookie of the Week during the month scored in double figures in all but one game and had four double-doubles. The one-time ECC Honor Roll recipient during the month began the month with 22 points in the win over East Stroudsburg on January 2nd. Lesko then had 15 points and 10 rebounds against Staten Island on January 8th before recording a career-high 30 points and 13 rebounds in the win over UDC on January 11th. The forward added her third double-double of the month on January 15th when she had 10 points and 11 rebounds in the win over Queens on January 15th. Lesko then had 13 points and five rebounds at Molloy on January 18th before netting her fourth double-double of the month by way of 17 points and 11 rebounds in the win over STAC on January 25th. The sophomore ended the month with three points and seven rebounds in the win at Roberts Wesleyan on January 31st.
