Lesko continued her strong play in the month of December, averaging a team-high 18.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game as Mercy went 5-2 during the month. The one-time ECC Defensive Player of the Week during the month scored in double figures in all but one game and had two double-doubles. The forward opened the month with 21 points and 12 rebounds in Mercy’s win at Staten Island on December 3rd. The one-time Metropolitan Basketball Writers Division II-III Player of the Week then had 24 points and eight rebounds in the win over UDC on December 6th. Lesko later added a month-high 29 points in the Mavericks’ win over D’Youville on December 14th. The three-time ECC Honor Roll recipient during the month then had 17 points in the win at Florida Tech on December 21st and ended the month with 21 points and 11 rebounds in the win at Goldey-Beacom on December 31st.
