Griffin started the season on a high note, leading the Mavericks with 16.5 points and 8.8 rebounds per game on 63.9 percent shooting. The redshirt sophomore leads the ECC in field goal percentage and ranks in the top five in scoring and rebounding. The forward opened up the month with 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting at Felician on November 12th. Griffin then poured in a career-high 27 points on 10-of-12 shooting in Mercy’s contest at Concordia on November 14th. The forward ended the month with three double-doubles and scored in double figures in all six games, including back-to-back double-doubles against Dominican and Post on November 17th & 18th. The redshirt sophomore recorded 12 points and seven rebounds against Pace on November 25th and ended the month with a double-double in the Mavericks win at Nyack on November 28th. The two-time ECC Honor Roll recipient recorded 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting and brought down a career-high 17 rebounds in the victory.
