Serna concluded her career in style, helping lead the Mavericks to the ECC Championship, East Region Championship and the program’s first-ever Final Four appearance. The senior had six goals and 13 points, recording three game-winning goals in the postseason for Mercy. The midfielder was named a First Team All-East Region selection and was tabbed a Second Team All-American by the D2CCA. Serna opened the month with the game-winning goal in the Mavericks 1-0 victory over Molloy in the ECC Championship Semifinals on November 1st. The senior then went on to record a hat-trick in the Mavericks 3-0 win at LIU Post that gave Mercy their first ECC Championship since 2014. The midfielder scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in the Mavericks second round NCAA Tournament win over Southern N.H. on November 12th. Serna went on to score a goal in the Mavericks 2-0 win over LIU Post on November 17th that gave Mercy the East Region Championship for the first time in program history. The senior then scored the game-winning penalty kick to help lead Mercy to their first-ever Final Four appearance.
