Giblin had a strong month of March for the Mavericks, hitting .392 (20-for-51) with 12 RBI, a home run, nine runs, four stolen bases and two doubles as Mercy won six games during the month. The junior recorded a hit in all but one of the 14 games he played in. The third baseman opened the month going 1-for-2 with three runs in the win over Bloomfield on March 2nd. He then went 1-for-5 with a run against Jefferson on March 3rd. Giblin went 3-for-8 with an RBI in the Mavericks doubleheader against regionally-ranked Southern Connecticut State on March 6th. The junior then went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in game one against New Haven on March 11th. The third baseman continued his strong month of March going 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI in the win at Pace on March 16th. Giblin went 3-for-8 with two RBI in the split at Bloomfield on March 18th and went 3-for-4 with a walk-off RBI single in the win over Dominican on March 23rd. Giblin also went 2-for-4 with another walk-off RBI single in the win over Bridgeport on March 25th and went 2-for-8 with an RBI in the split at Bridgeport on March 26th. Giblin helped lead the Mavericks to their first series win over Bridgeport since 2008.
