Hanken Tjostheim recorded a strong month in October, producing a team-high 15 points and six goals with three assists as Mercy went 4-2-2 during the month to secure their second straight ECC Championship appearance. The two-time ECC Offensive Player of the Week during the month had three game-winning goals and opened the month with two goals in the Mavericks win over regionally-ranked Millersville on October 4th. The sophomore added a goal in a 1-1 draw at STAC on October 7th and recorded the game-winning goal against Molloy on October 14th. Hanken Tjostheim also had a goal in the win over Dominican on October 17th and added an assist in the tie against UDC on October 21st. The sophomore ended the month with a goal and two assists in Mercy’s 7-1 win over Daemen on October 28th.
