NEW CASTLE, DE - Mercy College split a pair of non-conference women's volleyball matches on Saturday, topping Felician 3-2 before falling to host Wilmington 3-0.  The Mavericks are now 3-17 on the year.

In the opening win, Shedeiky Hamilton (Yallahs, Jamaica), Diana Bruzzone (Guayaquil, Ecuador), and Rebecca Lynch (Oceanside, N.Y.) each registered double-doubles for the Mavericks. Hamilton posted a match-high 20 kills and picked up 17 digs to go with seven service aces, while Bruzzone chipped in a match-high 25 digs, 10 kills, and four service aces. Lynch put up a match-high 43 assists and collected 16 digs.

Hamilton had another solid match in defeat to Wilmington, knocking down a match-high 15 kills to go with 14 digs. Bruzzone just missed another double-double with a match-high 24 digs and nine kills.

Mercy will return to action on Tuesday, October 13, with a 7 p.m. home match versus Queens.
