Women's Soccer Loses 8-0 To C.W. Post
On Saturday
BROOKEVILLE, N.Y. --
The Mercy College women's soccer team lost 8-0 at the hands of the
C.W. Post Pioneers on Saturday in East Coast Conference play in
Brookeville.
With the loss the Mavericks fall to
3-8 overall and 1-5 in league action. The Pioneers advance to
11-4-1 on the season and 5-1 in the E.C.C.
Mavericks freshman goalkeeper
Kassandra Phillips (Marcellus, N.Y.) faced 27
shots, 20 on goal with 12 saves.
The Mavericks will be back in action
on Thursday, Oct. 29 when they face Felician in a non-conference
contest on Mercy College Field. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
