Mercy Volleyball Falls to #22 Dowling 3-0
Box Score The Mercy College volleyball team lost to the #22 ranked team in
the country tonight, falling at Dowling College 3-0. Set scores
were 25-9, 25-10, 25-10. Dowling is now 18-1 overall and 6-1 in the
East Coast Conference, while Mercy is now 3-19, and 0-7 in the
ECC.
Freshman Nicolette Gebhardt (Middletown, N.Y./Pine
Bush) led the Mavericks with eleven kills, seven assists,
and five digs. In support, senior Mirlusca Montes (Lima, Peru/Senor de la
Misericordia) had a game-high eleven digs.
Mercy takes nearly a week to regroup, and next returns to action
on Monday, October 25, at Southern Connecticut at 7:00 p.m.
