Volleyball Concludes Six-Match Road Trip with Loss at Bridgeport
Box Score The Mercy College volleyball team lost to East Coast Conference
rival Bridgeport, 3-0, on Tuesday evening, 25-9, 25-6, 25-6.
Bridgeport, who sits atop the conference at 4-0, is now 14-1
overall. Mercy is 3-11 overall, and 0-3 in the ECC.
In the first set, UB ran off a 10-1 run to take command. In the
second, UB began the set on a 16-2 run, while the third set saw a
14-0 run for the hosts.
For the evening, freshman Nicolette Gebhardt (Middletown, N.Y./Pine
Bush) hit .214 to lead Mercy.
After six consecutive road games, the Mavericks return home for
their next match on Thursday, October 7, hosting C.W. Post at 7:00
p.m.
