Mercy Field Hockey Falls at Moravian College 3-0
Box Score The Mercy College field hockey team fell 3-0 at Moravian (Pa.)
College on Saturday, falling to 0-8 on the season. Moravian (5-7)
scored all three goals in the second half to claim the win.
Freshman keeper Kristen Znaniecki (Port Jefferson Station,
N.Y./Comsewogue) made 14 saves for Mercy.
The Mavericks return to action on Fri., Oct. 15, when Mercy
hosts Limestone College at 11;00 a.m. at Manhattanville College.
The game will be Mercy's Stick it to Cancer! game, promoting
breast cancer awareness.
