Volleyball Falls at CW Post 3-0
Box Score The Mercy College volleyball team dropped a 3-0 match at C.W.
Post on Tuesday evening before 102 fans at the Pratt Recreational
Center in Brookville, N.Y. Set scores were 25-9, 25-11, 25-12.
Freshman Nicolette Gebhardt (Middletown, N.Y./Pine
Bush) led the Mavericks with seven kills and four
digs. Senior Mirlusca Montes (Lima, Peru/Senor de la
Misericordia) added a game-high 15 digs, and sophomore
Kassy Phillips (Marcellus,
N.Y./Marcellus) added eight digs.
Mercy returns home on Wednesday, November 4, to host Queens
College. Mercy will honor Mirlusca Montes prior to the match,
celebrating her time in a Mavericks uniform on Senior Day. The
ceremony precedes the game, which is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
