Men's Lacrosse Coach Jordan Levine Traded in the
MLL
Mercy College assistant men's lacrosse coach Jordan Levine
was traded earlier this week from the Chesapeake Bayhawks to the
Chicago Machine in Major League Lacrosse. The deal was a
one-for-one swap, and sent attackman Chazz Woodson to
Chesapeake.
“Losing a guy like Levine definitely stings a bit, he does
phenomenal
things between the lines and sparks transition. We wish him great
success with the Machine,” said Bayhawks' General
Manager Spencer Ford.
Levine, a midfielder, played in four games this season for the
Bayhawks and scored one goal with three assists.
This will be his fourth team in three seasons. He began his
career with the New Jersey Pride, who selected him tenth in the
2008 MLL Collegiate Draft. That year, he scored five goals and
added nine assists. He then helped the Toronto Nationals win the
MLL title last year by playing in ten games while contributing
seven goals with three assists.
He is on the active roster for Chicago and will wear number 2.
He is expected to play this Sunday, when the machine play the
Boston Cannons at the Virginia Beach SportsPlex.
