Mercy Baseball Beats River Ridge Rival Nyack, 11-6
The Mercy College baseball team rolled to an 11-6 win at Nyack
College on Thursday. The Mavericks are now 10-15 on the season,
while the Warriors are 0-26.
Junior Charles Dehart (Staten Island, N.Y./St.
Peter's Boys) picked up the win, throwing three
scoreless innings.
Sophomore Andrew Bock (Malverne, N.Y./Valley Stream
North) had three hits, including two doubles, and a
sacrifice fly en route to four runs batted in. Freshman Nick Fiore (Wantagh N.Y./MacArthur)
had a pair of hits and two RBI in the winning cause.
Mercy returns to action on Friday, April 15, opening up the
series with Queens College.
