In Game Two, the Mavericks (15-20, 8-12 ECC) rallied from a 4-1 deficit to knot the score with three runs in the sixth. With the score tied at 4-4 after eight, the game was suspended due to darkness. Junior Billy Dring (Mahopac, N.Y./Lakeland) allowed all four runs in the second inning.

In the bottom of the sixth, the first four batters all reached base for Mercy. First Ferrante drove home a run, then a Walsh double drove home two more.
