Another 11-2 run increased the Lions' lead to 11 at the 7:10 mark and Mercy could only just trim the deficit to eight heading into the break.
Molloy came out of halftime on fire, hitting the first 12 points of the second half to take a commanding 20-point lead which Mercy could not cut to less than 14 as the game came to a close, ultimately falling by 20.
Williams also led the Mavericks with four assists and senior center Crasheena Ward (Danbury, Conn.) rounded out the double-digit scorers with a career-high 12 points.
The Lions enjoyed two 20-point scorers, with junior guard Ashley Addison (East Hanover, N.J.) and graduate student guard Amanda Bartlett (Mesa, Ariz.) netting 23 and 20 points, respectively. Three others scored in double-digits, including junior forward Ikema Ross (East Patchogue, N.Y.), who also led the game with 14 rebounds, and Finlay, who hit five treys on 10 attempts.
