The Mavericks answered as freshman Brittany Roser (Port Ewen, N.Y. / Kingston) played a cross to Burke for the score. Mercy would cut the lead to 2-1 in the 54th minute. Adelphi added two insurance goals to seal the win for the Panthers.

For Mercy, junior Yolie Nyero (Carlisle, Pa. / Carlisle) had a game high four shots including three on goal, while senior Tracy Wandle (Rocky Point, N.Y. / Rocky Point) and junior Marissa Kluber (Wading River, N.Y. / Shoreham-Wading River) both took two shots each.
