Cummings Named to ECC Baseball Player of the Week Honor Roll
Box Score CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Mar. 19, 2013) - The East Coast Conference office announced its weekly baseball awards today and Mercy College senior Tom Cummings (Coatesville, Pa.) was selected to the Player of the Week Honor Roll.
Cummings hurled a stellar game against the University of New Haven down in Florida. In the 3-1 win, the senior pitched a complete-game, five-hitter, surrendering one unearned run and striking out eight batters.
Cummings and his teammates return to action on Friday, Mar. 22 when they play ECC-rival Molloy College at Hofstra University. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m.
