Crystal Mena named to the East Coast Conference Women's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll
Box Score CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. - (Sept. 9, 2013) - Mercy College women's soccer senior Crystal Mena (Newport Beach, Calif. / Santiago Canyon College) was named to the Women's Soccer East Coast Conference Honor Roll for Week One.
Mena helped lead the Mavericks to a 2-0 start to open the season. She scored two second half goals in a 2-1 comeback victory against Pace on Sunday, and was the defensive catalyst in the 2-0 shutout of Post University on Friday.
Mena continues to rack up the awards as she was named to the All-ECC second team last season.
Mena, Coach Jonathan Feinstein and the Mavericks return to action Tuesday September 10th, as they will host the Deacons of Bloomfield College at 4:00 pm.
