Erin Copeland Named ECC Women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week
Box Score CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Nov. 17, 2014) – Mercy College women's basketball junior Erin Copeland (Kansas City, Kan. / Univ. of Illinois-Springfield) has been named the East Coast Conference Co-Player of the Week for Week 1.

Copeland averaged 17.5 points, 8.5 assists per game, and 5.5 rebounds per game as the Mavericks started the 2014-15 season at 2-0. Copeland poured in 17 points and had six assists in the 68-57 victory over Nyack on Nov. 14. She also posted a double-double with 18 points and 11 assists, while making the game tying layup to force overtime in the 82-81 overtime victory against Georgian Court on Nov. 15.
Copeland shared the Player of the Week honors with Denikka Brent from UDC.
This is her first ECC honor this season and first for the team.
