ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. (Feb. 12, 2014) – Senior Olajide Keshinro (Brooklyn, N.Y. / SUNY Cobleskill) recorded his seventh double-double of the season with 17 points and 12 rebounds in an East Coast Conference rivalry game at Molloy College on Wednesday night.

Molloy improves to 13-10 overall and 10-5 in the ECC while Mercy drops to 2-20 (2-14).

The Mavericks were knocking down everything early on as junior Terrance Murchie (Franklin Square, N.Y. / H. Frank Carey) hit a pair of three-pointers within the first 4:30 and, along with a couple of assisted low-post baskets, Mercy led 8-7 with 15:46 left in the first half.

Mercy held a 10-9 lead to the 14-minute mark before Molloy started to get hot, stretching out to a 29-point lead at 56-27 by halftime.

The Lions immediately extended the margin past 30 points to open the second half and would lead by as many as 35 while the Mavericks could come no closer than 25 with 5:31 remaining, ultimately falling 91-60

Keshinro led the team in both scoring and rebounding while shooting 6-of-9 from the field.  Murchie posted his fifth double-figure scoring game of the year with 13 points, 10 of which came in the first half, and dished out a career-high five assists.

Head Coach Adam Parmenter and the Mavericks will head to Queens College (5-17, 5-11) on Monday, Feb. 17.
