ECC Release

Bentson began her senior season perfectly, reaching base in all seven of her trips to the plate over the Mavericks' opening two games.  She went 4-for-4 with three hit-by-pitches, one run and a two-run home run, on which she drove home the game-winning run in the season-opening 4-1 win over Bentley University on Sunday.

Moquin made her collegiate debut to resounding success, striking out five of the 11 batters she faced in earning a three-inning save in the victory over Bentley.

Sieber started her senior season in perfect fashion, striking out three batters and coaxing eight groundouts over four innings to earn the win in the season-opening victory over Bentley.  She also went 1-for-2 at the plate, singling in her first plate appearance in three years.

Head Coach Mike Fazio will lead Bentson and the rest of the Mavericks as they play 10 games in the next five days to conclude their annual Florida trip.
