Baseball Faces Dowling in Series Opener

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Apr. 25, 2014) – The Mercy College baseball team opened its East Coast Conference series vs. the Golden Lions of Dowling College on Friday afternoon.
Dowling came away with the 7-0 victory to improve to 26-10 overall and 14-3 East Coast Conference, while the Mavericks fall to 12-21 overall and 8-9 in the ECC.
For Mercy, Senior Ken Post (Closter, N.J. /St. Joseph's) went 1-for-3 with a walk while junior Blake Hasbrouck (Middletown, N.Y./Middletown [Orange C.C.]) went 1-for-1.
Head Coach Bob Greiner and the Mavericks return to action on Saturday, Apr. 26, as they travel to Oakdale, N.Y. to take on the Golden Lions in a doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m.
