White Racks Up 10 Kills as Volleyball Faces ECC Foe Dowling
Box Score DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Sept. 30, 2014)- Senior Brenna White (Gardnerville, Nev. / Douglas) had 10 kills, nine digs, and one block assist, as the Mercy College volleyball team faced the Golden Lions of Dowling College on Tuesday evening.
The Golden Lions improve to 9-7 overall, and 4-2 in the ECC with the 3-0 win, while the Mavericks fall to 3-11 overall, and 0-5 in the ECC.
Senior McKenna Ronan (Chandler, Ariz. / Seton Catholic Prep) had 20 assists, four digs, one service ace, and one block assist, while fellow senior Sonia Morales (San Fernando, Calif. /L.A. Mission College) had six kills and two block assists.
Head Coach Kelly Wengerter and the Mavericks return to action on Thursday Oct. 2, as they will host the Purple Knights of the University of Bridgeport at 7:00 p.m.
