Women's Soccer Ranks Fourth in NSCAA/Continental Tire East Region Poll
Box Score DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Sept. 9, 2014) – The Mercy College women's soccer team has been ranked fourth in the first National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Continental Tire East Region Poll.

The Mavericks started the 2014 season with a pair of 1-0 shutout victories in the Mercy Kickoff Classic the Pace University and Post University.
Junior Nicole Augustine (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) was named East Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as she played all 180 minutes over both games, making six saves and recording her 10th and 11th career shutouts.
Senior MacKenzie Cochrane (Mission Viejo, Calif. /Fresno State University) made the ECC weekly Honor Roll after assisting on the game-winning goal by junior Jessica DeLeon (Phoenix, Ariz. /Paradise Valley CC) in the 1-0 win over the Setters on Sept. 4 and nailing the game-winner on a free kick with 20 seconds remaining in the 1-0 over the Eagles on Sept. 6.
Head Coach Jonathan Feinstein and the Mavericks return to action on Tuesday, September 9, as they travel to Albany, N.Y. to face No. 6 Golden Knights of the College of Saint Rose at 5:30 p.m.
