Tanayzha Augustine Named to ECC Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll
Box Score CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Jan. 20, 2015) – Mercy College women's basketball senior Tanayzha Augustine (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./ Poughkeepsie) has been named to the East Coast Conference weekly honor roll for Week Nine.

Augustine averaged 16 points, ten rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game in the Mavericks two contests over the weekend. On Friday, Augustine scored 12 second half points that sparked a 17-0 run, which put Mercy back in the game and erased the Redhawks 50-33 halftime deficit. On Saturday, Augustine collected her fifth double-double of the season with 18 points, and 17 rebounds, while adding four blocks against the Wildcats of Daemen College.
Head Coach Rashidi Aikens and the Mavericks return to action tonight, as they travel to Sparkill, N.Y. to face the Spartans of St. Thomas Aquinas College at 6:00 p.m.
