Baseball Hosts Saint Rose on Wednesday
DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Mar. 17, 2015) - The Mercy College baseball team continues its home stand as they will face the Golden Knights of the College Saint Rose on Wednesday.

Scouting the Mavericks
The Mavericks have won the last three out of four, with a sweep of Lincoln (Pa.) on Mar. 11th and a split with Wilmington on Mar. 12th. Junior Scott Hagan has a .297 batting average with 11 hits, five RBI's and three double, while freshman Bryan Torres has hit .294 with 10 hits, eight runs scored, two doubles, a triple and a homerun. Junior Christian Hock tossed a one hit complete game with nine strikeouts in the 6-0 win over Lincoln on Wednesday. Sophomore Matt Nalbone (1.26) and senior Bryan Greig (1.59) have posted an ERA below two.
Scouting the Golden Knights
The Golden Knights have spent most of their time during February and March in the South. Saint Rose managed to earn three wins, but they came against Northeast 10 conference opponents. Wednesday's game against Mercy will be their first game outside of Florida or South Carolina. Senior Zac Bellinger is the only player to hit north of .400 at the dish. Bellinger has 16 hits, eight doubles, five RBI's, and four scored. Fellow classmate Lukas Nethaway has hit .278 with 10 hits, six RBI's, six runs scored and five doubles. Junior Joe Pokrentowski has a 2.51 ERA with a 1-1 record in three starts. Senior Ryan Harper has a 2-1 record with a 2.84 ERA in 19.0 innings pitched.
