Softball Takes on Three in Upcoming Week

Scouting the Mavericks
The Mavericks dropped two games to the Chargers of Dominican College in Orangetown on Monday. Michelle Dufourd hit a home run in the 3-1 game one loss, while Jackie Couillard went 2-for-2 in game two. Morgan Lloyd currently leads the Mavericks in batting average (.354), slugging percentage (.458), hits (17) and RBI's (5). Marlena Marzigliano has posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. Taylor Holmes has a team leading 2.06 ERA, while Anna Cochis is the team leader in strikeouts with 14.
Scouting the Lions
The Lions come into Tuesday's contest winning five out of the last six games. Molloy swept Dowling (11-3, 8-1) and STAC (28-2, 12-4), before dropping the second game of a doubleheader against NYIT 4-1 on Sunday. Ashley Fedor has a .400 batting average with 22 hits, 10 RBI's six doubles and one triple, while Tracy Balinskas has a .377 batting average with a team leading 26 hits, 13 RBI's, 10 doubles and two homerun's. Fedor went 5-for-6 with six RBI's and four runs scored in the 28-2 victory over STAC on Mar. 28th. Balinsaks also leads the team in strikeouts with 56 and has a 4.71 ERA in 65.1 innings pitched. Chelsea Hawks has posted a 3.13 ERA with 27 strikeouts in 53.2 innings pitched.
Scouting the Bears
Kristen Wilson leads the team in batting average (.426), slugging percentage (.623), on-base percentage (.521), hits (26), RBI's (15), and doubles (6). Last week, she went 3-for-4 with three RBI's, two doubles, and a run scored in a victory over Goldey-Beacom. Wilson has also been extremely solid in the circle for the bears as she leads the team in almost every pitching statistic. Wilson has a 0.66 ERA with 128 strikeouts, nine complete games, three saves and 8-2 record in 74.1 inning pitched. Stephanie Miller is Bloomfields' second option in the circle. Miller has a 3.24 ERA with 46 strikeouts and five complete games in 58.1 innings pitched.
Scouting the Golden Lions
Dowling has spilt the last four ECC games, as they swept STAC and were swept by Molloy. Arianna La Puma has a team leading .419 batting average with 26 hits, 16 RBI's, 11 doubles, three homeruns, and one triple. Recently, she went 2-for-4 with two RBI's and two runs scored in a victory over STAC. Victoria Gallagher has a .304 batting average with 17 hits, 13 runs scored, nine RBI's, five doubles, two homeruns and a triple. Alisa Fjelstead has 15 strikeouts and a 3.62 ERA in 48.1 innings pitched. Vanessa Juengerkes has a 4.64 ERA with a 6-4 record and 26 strikeouts in 63.1 innings pitched.
