Calderaro Named ECAC Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week
Box Score DANBURY, Conn. (Sept. 30, 2015) – Mercy College women's soccer freshman Lauren Calderaro (La Verne, Calif./Bonita) has been named the Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week.

Calderaro continued her strong rookie season, scoring a goal with an assist on the week as the Mavericks went 1-1. The freshman assisted on a goal in Mercy's 2-0 win over Daemen on Friday before scoring the Mavericks lone goal against Roberts Wesleyan on Sunday. The forward now has a team-best five goals on the year and ended the week with three points.
The award is the fourth earned by Calderaro this year as she has been named ECC Rookie of the Week three times.
Head Coach Jonathan Feinstein and the Mavericks return to action on Saturday, October 3rd, hosting Saint Rose at 3 p.m.
