Bady Recognized as ECAC Women's Basketball Division II Rookie of the Week
Box Score DANBURY, Conn. (Feb. 16, 2016) – Mercy College women's basketball freshman Chi-la Bady (Valley Stream, N.Y./Francis Lewis) has been named the Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Women's Basketball Division II Rookie of the Week for the week ending February 14th.

Bady finished with another strong week in her rookie campaign, averaging 10.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 3.3 steals per game in 34.0 minutes per game. The freshman finished with 11 points in both of the Mavericks contests against Roberts Wesleyan and Daemen, adding six assists against the Wildcats on Saturday.
The ECAC honor is the third earned by the freshman and is the fifth accolade earned by Bady this season. The award is the 15th earned by a Maverick this season.
