Deberardinis Tabbed ECAC Division II Baseball Rookie of the Week
DANBURY, Conn. (Mar. 28, 2017) - Mercy College baseball freshman David Deberardinis (Fishkill, N.Y./John Jay) has been named the Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II Baseball Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 26th.

Deberardinis earned the win on the mound in the series finale against Bridgeport, posting a complete game with zero earned runs allowed with four strikeouts to earn his first collegiate win. The freshman also went 2-for-5 at the plate in two games against Le Moyne earlier in the week.
The award is the second earned by the freshman this year and the Mavericks have now earned eight awards on the year.
