Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy enters Saturday's game on a two-game winning streak and is coming off a 2-0 victory over New Haven on Tuesday. The Mavericks are currently 5-0 at Mercy Field and are led on the season by senior Trista Seara who has a team-high ten points on four goals and two assists. Graduate student RaeAnn Ioannou is second on the team with seven points on three goals and an assist. Senior Natalia Elizarraras has two goals and an assist and junior Melissa Torres is 7-2 in goal with 30 saves and a .811 save percentage.
Scouting the Owls
Southern Connecticut rides a three-game winning streak into Saturday's matchup. The Owls defeated Pace, 1-0, on Tuesday. Kaitlyn D'Amico leads Southern Connecticut with nine points on four goals and an assist. Johanna Wahlen is second on the team with seven points on two goals and a team-high three assists. Meaghan Kelly and Rossella Graniero both have two goals and Allie Smith is 7-2 with six shutouts and 58 saves.
