Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy has won three games in a row and is coming off a 2-0 victory over Southern Connecticut on Saturday. The Mavericks are 6-0 at Mercy Field this year and are led by senior Trista Seara who has a team-high ten points on four goals and two assists. Junior Kaitlyn Denning also has four goals and is coming off a two-goal game against Southern Connecticut. Graduate student RaeAnn Ioannou is third on the team with seven points on three goals and an assist and senior Jess Brandt has a team-high three assists. Junior Melissa Torres is 8-2 in goal with six shutouts, a .821 save percentage and 32 saves.
Scouting the Spartans
St. Thomas Aquinas enters the contest on a three-game losing streak and are winless on the year. The Spartans are coming off a 3-0 loss to Molloy on Saturday and have been led by senior Victoria DiMarco, junior Mekenzi Moreau and freshman Amanda Fuchs-White who all have recorded a goal on the year. Junior Sarah Colotti has a team-high two assists and freshman Colleen Stevens is 0-6-1 in goal with 42 saves and a .724 save percentage.
