Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy enters on a four-game winning streak and is coming off a 1-0 victory over St. Thomas Aquinas on Wednesday. The Mavericks are led by senior Ignacio Mangada who has a team-high 18 points on six goals and six assists. Senior Santiago Corral is second on the team with 17 points on a team-high seven goals with three assists. Senior Maximiliano Rebolledo-Camus has four goals and three assists and senior Gaston Rozenblum has a team-high seven assists with one goal. Sophomore Archie Jones and senior Manuel Achondo both have three goals and junior Joel Serrano is 8-1-1 in goal with 15 saves and a .714 save percentage.
Scouting the Bears
New York Tech is on a two-game losing streak and is coming off a 2-1 loss at Roberts Wesleyan on Wednesday. The Bears are led by Simon-Peter Omooba who has a team-high 17 points on eight goals and an assist. Bernd Schlüter is second on the team with six goals in eight games and Kevin Martinez has a team-high five assists with two goals. Che Richards has three goals, an assist and two game-winning goals and Pol Zapata is 3-3 with 27 saves and .675 save percentage in eight starts. Andrew Pereira is 2-4 in goal with 21 saves and a .677 save percentage.
