Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy snapped a three-match three losing streak with their straight-set win over Queens on Wednesday. The Mavericks have been led by senior Imani DeBose who has an ECC best 254 kills and 3.53 kills per set. Sophomore Loreto Nunez Casal is fifth in the ECC with 2.90 kills per set and junior Adriana Lopez-Soto is second in the ECC with 303 digs. Sophomore Selma Vulic has been named ECC Rookie of the Week five times and is second on the team with 149 kills and 205 digs. Junior Natalia Garcia has a team-high 609 assists and is third on the team with 199 digs.
Scouting the Penmen
Southern New Hampshire is coming off a 3-0 loss to Saint Anselm on Tuesday, but earned wins in their prior two matches against Assumption and Roberts Wesleyan. Freshman Juliana Pacini leads the team with 125 kills and is second on the team with 104 digs. Senior Baylee Lippincott is second on the team with 90 kills and leads the team with 35 blocks. Freshman Angela Crosetti leads the team with 213 digs and senior Joanne Coffey paces the team with 285 assists.
Scouting the Wildcats
Wilmington will face Concordia on Friday before taking on the Penmen and Mavericks on Saturday. The Wildcats have won four matches in a row and are coming off a 3-0 win over Goldey-Beacom on Wednesday. Wilmington is led by junior Mandy Behiels who has a team-high 226 kills and is second with 212 digs. Freshman Elly Collins has a team-high 380 digs and sophomore Sarah Couch has a team-high 771 assists with 46 service aces.
