Scouting the Mavericks

Mercy looks to pick up their first win of the season and is coming off a loss to Dominican on Sunday. The Mavericks are led by redshirt junior Bryan Griffin who was named to the ECC Honor Roll this week after averaging a team-high 26.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. Griffin also is averaging 2.5 blocks and 15 steals per game. Junior Dayvon Cuffey is second on the team with 13.0 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game in 26.0 minutes per game. Junior Nakeem Hamilton recorded nine points in his debut on Sunday and sophomore Dondre Barnes is averaging 6.5 points per game.

Scouting the Golden Falcons

Felician opened up their season 1-1 at the ECC-CACC Challenge at Daemen this past weekend. The Golden Falcons are coming off an 82-74 win over Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday. Zamir Wright led Felician with 21.0 points per game and Jay'von Jackson put up 20.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. Sophomore Dee-End McRae averaged 12.0 points in the two games and Jeff Lewis rounded out four averaging in double figures at 10.0 points per game.
