Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy is the No. 2 seed for the second straight year and are ranked No. 24 nationally in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll. The Mavericks are making their seventh straight appearance in the ECC Championship and are looking for their third ECC title after winning in 2014 and 2017. Mercy enters the tournament on a four-game winning streak and have been led by senior Trista Seara who has a team-high 16 points on five goals and six assists. Junior Kaitlyn Denning is second on the team with 15 points on a team-high seven goals with one assist. Sophomore Anicia Reyes is third on the team with 12 points by way of five goals and two assists. Graduate student RaeAnn Ioannou, senior Natalia Elizarraras and sophomore Sydney Cooper all have ten points. Junior Melissa Torres is 12-2-2 in goal with 52 saves, a .839 save percentage and 0.64 goals against average.
Scouting the Bears
New York Tech is the No. 3 seed and is making their first-ever ECC Championship appearance. The Bears enter off a 1-0 win over Queens on November 2nd. New York Tech is led by Casey Luongo who has a team-high 12 points on six goals and Maggie Thibault is second on the team with ten points on a goal and team-high eight assists. Hannah Franco places third on the team with nine points on four goals and an assist. Nicole Genis is 6-6-2 in goal with 51 saves, a .718 save percentage and 1.32 goals against average in 15 starts.

The winner of Thursday's game will face the winner of Bridgeport/Molloy in the Championship Game on Sunday, November 17th.
