Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy enters Thursday's game ranked No. 24 in the country and 6-0-2 in their last eight games. The Mavericks are led by junior Kaitlyn Denning who has a team-high 13 points on six goals and one assist. Senior Trista Seara is second on the team with ten points on four goals and two assists with a team-high three game-winning goals. Senior Natalia Elizarraras and graduate student RaeAnn Ioannou both have eight points on three goals and two assists and senior Jess Brandt has a team-high three assists. Sophomore Sydney Cooper was named ECC Defensive Player of the Week this week and has four points on a goal and two assists. Junior Melissa Torres is 11-2-2 in goal with 51 saves and a .836 save percentage.
Scouting the Lightning
Goldey-Beacom has won three of their last four games and is coming off a 3-0 victory over Post on Saturday. The Lightning have been led by senior Jenna Fannon who has a team-high 53 points on 23 goals and seven assists with five game-winning goals. Junior Line Kristoffersen is second on the team with 45 points on 17 goals and 11 assists. Freshman Noel Talbot is 9-5-2 in goal with 58 saves and a .667 save percentage.
