Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy has earned a spot into the ECC Tournament for the third straight year and with a win would earn the ECC Regular Season Championship and top seed in next week's ECC Tournament. The Mavericks have been led by senior Ignacio Mangada who has a team-high 20 points on seven goals and six assists. Senior Santiago Corral has 17 points on seven goals and three assists and senior Maximiliano Rebolledo-Camus has 13 points on four goals and five assists. Senior Gaston Rozenblum has a team-high eight assists and junior Joel Serrano is 9-3-2 in goal with 25 saves, a .735 save percentage and 0.63 goals against average in 14 starts.
Scouting the Firebirds
UDC enters Saturday's game on a three-game winning streak and is in a battle for an ECC Tournament spot. The Firebirds currently sit in a tie for third in the ECC standings and are coming off a 3-0 win at Daemen on Saturday. UDC is led by junior Vitor Gomes who has a team-high 25 points on 11 goals and three assists. Senior Malik Thom is second on the team with 21 points on eight goals and five assists. Freshman Javier Abadia is 3-5 in goal with 59 saves and a .711 save percentage.
