Scouting the Mavericks

Mercy is coming off a 2-2 tie against Southern Connecticut on Saturday. The Mavericks received goals from senior Ignacio Mangada and sophomore Steven Fernandez. Freshman Matthias Kuhn was named ECC Rookie of the Week after scoring a goal in his collegiate debut against Assumption on Thursday. Junior Francisco Ricci was tabbed ECC Defensive Player of the Week after leading a backline that allowed just two goals on the week. Junior Joel Serrano has opened the season with nine saves and an .818 save percentage in two games.

Scouting the Ravens

Franklin Pierce has opened their season with wins over Felician and Bridgeport. The Ravens have been led by graduate student Stefan Lohberger who has a team-high three goals on the year. Junior Cristobal Andreu and sophomore Calvin Fillios also have goals on the year. In goal, both senior Jadel Poon-Lewis and graduate student Clay Thomas have earned a win in goal.
