Scouting the Mavericks
Mercy is currently No. 16 in the country and is coming off a 2-1 victory over Franklin Pierce on Thursday. The Mavericks received goals from seniors Manuel Achondo and Maximiliano Rebolledo-Camus in the win and junior Jordan Williams made three saves to earn the win. Seniors Ignacio Mangada and Gaston Rozenblum and sophomore Archie Jones dished out assists. Mangada also has a goal on the season and freshman Matthias Kuhn was named ECC Rookie of the Week earlier this week after scoring his first collegiate goal against Assumption on September 5th. Junior Francisco Ricci leads a Mercy defense that has allowed just three goals in three games.
Scouting the Marauders
Millersville opened their season with a 5-1 loss to Wilmington on September 5th before earning a 2-1 overtime victory over Goldey-Beacom on September 7th. The Marauders made the NCAA Tournament last year after going 10-4-6. Millersville is led by Nathan Maynard, Jake Gosselin and Roger Buesmaill Jr. who have all scored one goal this season. Brady Hochman leads Millersville in goal with a 1-0 record and three saves in one start.
